What We Collect

When you use our savings calculator or contact form, we collect:

• Your name and business name
• Your email address and phone number
• Your monthly processing volume and current rate (entered into the calculator)
• A processing statement, if you choose to attach one

We do not ask for payment card numbers or social security numbers anywhere on this website, and no field on this site is for entering them.

If You Upload a Statement

Attaching a statement is optional. You can send your details without one and give us the statement later, or not at all — we will still respond.

A merchant processing statement names your business and your processing history, and depending on your processor it may also show a partial or full bank account number on the funding line. Please look at what you are sending before you attach it. If you would rather black out the funding details first, the review still works — we need the fee and volume lines, not your bank details.

• Uploads are received through our website host and retrieved by Crane Processing into a restricted company account. While the file is still with our host it sits at a long, randomly generated web address. We never publish that address, but it is not password protected — anyone who has the address can open the file. We move the file into our own account and delete the host-side copy as soon as we have it. Removal may not take effect straight away.
• We use your statement for one purpose: working out what you pay today and what we could offer instead.
• We do not sell it, use it for unrelated marketing, or pass it to another processor. If you decide to proceed, only the business details needed to open your account go to Elavon.
• We keep it while your review is open and while you are still in contact with us about it. Ask us to delete it at any point and we will, and confirm that we have.

How We Use It

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry and provide a free processing rate comparison
• Contact you about setting up a merchant account if you choose to proceed
• Send follow-up information you have requested

We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. We do run the Meta advertising pixel described below, which shares your activity on this site with Meta so we can measure our advertising. Under some state privacy laws that counts as “sharing” for targeted advertising, so we are telling you plainly rather than relying on the word “sell.”

Who We Share With

If you choose to move forward with a merchant account, your business information will be shared with Elavon, Inc. (a U.S. Bank company) as required to establish and manage your processing account. Elavon's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Cookies and Tracking

We use basic browser storage to preserve your calculator inputs during your session. That stays in your browser.

This site also loads the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. It reports to Meta which pages you opened, when you completed the savings calculator, and when this site successfully accepted a form submission. For a submission, the event identifies the form used (for example, the statement-review/contact form or the quick-question form). Our event code does not send Meta the form’s contents, your calculator amounts, or an uploaded statement. We use these events to measure whether our advertising is working and reach people who have already visited. Meta also receives the browser and device information normally associated with a pixel request, and Meta governs its own use of that information under its privacy policy. If you would rather not be included, most browsers have a tracking-protection setting, and Meta’s own ad preferences let you limit how your activity is used.

Your Rights

You may request that we delete any personal information we hold about you by contacting us directly. We will respond within 30 days.
